Frequently Asked Questions
How long does the evaluation process take?
Most evaluations take 2–4 weeks from the first appointment to the feedback session. Testing is usually completed over 1–2 appointments, depending on age and complexity.

Do you accept insurance?
Assessment services are typically private pay. We can provide a superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Coverage varies by plan.

Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. We understand that assessments are an investment. Payment plans may be available and can be discussed before scheduling.

Will the report help with school or workplace accommodations?
Yes. When appropriate, reports include recommendations that may support academic accommodations (IEP/504 plans) or workplace documentation. However, final decisions are made by the school or employer.

What happens during the feedback session?
The psychologist will review results with you, explain diagnoses (if applicable), answer questions, and discuss next steps. Our goal is for you to leave with clarity and a plan.

Can adults be evaluated for ADHD or autism?
Yes. We provide evaluations for both children and adults. Many adults seek evaluations to better understand long-standing challenges.

What if the evaluation does not result in a diagnosis?
That is completely okay. Sometimes evaluations clarify that symptoms are better explained by stress, anxiety, trauma, or other factors. You will still receive recommendations to guide next steps.

Is testing stressful?
Most clients find the process structured but manageable. Breaks are provided as needed, especially for children. We strive to create a supportive environment.
