Cancellation Policy

A cancelled appointment hurts three people: you, your therapist, and another client who could have potentially used your time slot. Therapy sessions are scheduled in advance and are a time reserved exclusively for our clients.

The clinicians and staff of Release and Govern Therapeutic Services, LLC are committed to assisting you in meeting your therapeutic goals and to supporting you in being the person you’re destined to be. RGTS, LLC staff will make every effort to inform you at the earliest possible time should we need to re-schedule an appointment you have made and confirmed. Please ensure that we have an accurate daytime telephone number and / or a cell phone number where we can reach you should we need to. We will make all reasonable efforts to contact you should an unforeseen event occur that causes us to re-schedule your appointment. Therapists reserve the right to re-schedule with clients who are more than 10 minutes late for appointments.

Clients can cancel or reschedule an appointment anytime, if they provide 24 hours’ notice. If you cancel an appointment with less than 24 hours’ notice, or fail to show up, you will be charged a $50 fee for the appointment. This 24-hour policy is firm.

If you are more than 10 minutes late to your appointment time, it will be treated like a late cancellation and client is responsible for the full $50 fee including but not limited to copay. Full fee clients are responsible for their full fee, in addition to the $50 no show/cancellation fee.

3 consecutive missed appointments will result in removal from the schedule to make room for the waiting list.
Weekly clients that miss 3 scheduled appointments within a three-month time period, understands that the therapeutic relationship may be terminated and appropriate referrals to other practices will be offered.
Bi-weekly clients that miss two scheduled appointments in a two-month period, understands that the therapeutic relationship may be terminated and appropriate referrals to other practices will be offered.

Fees/Sessions:

If 3 sessions are missed without a 24/hour notice and the missed session fees are not paid, future sessions may be cancelled awaiting payment of fees.
All sessions fees are due within 24/hours to avoid cancellation of future appointments.
