We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Mental Health Therapist to provide therapy to clients experiencing emotional, psychological, and behavioral challenges. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to helping individuals develop coping strategies, improve their mental well-being, and work toward recovery.
In your role, you will know how to develop a comprehensive social history and psychosocial assessment that includes the client’s problems, strengths, and preferences; including cultural, religious, and ethnic background and implications for the treatment plan. Involves consumers and families in treatment planning, encouraging their attendance at case conferences or with outside providers/professionals. Completes required clinical documentation within timelines established by applicable regulations and policies. Ensure the timely completion of initial and concurrent Individualized Treatment Plans in collaboration with the consumer and identified supportive persons.

Qualifications:
You must be able to perform each essential duties satisfactorily.
You must have a strong, passionate desire to serve clients.
Valid licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LCPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent) in the state of practice.
Previous experience in providing therapy, particularly in clinical or outpatient settings.
Strong understanding of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Sensitivity and empathy when working with clients in distress.
Knowledge of state and federal regulations regarding mental health care.
Duties:
Conduct assessments to determine the psychological, emotional, and behavioral needs of clients.
Provide individual, group, and family therapy in accordance with treatment plans.
Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, ensuring measurable goals and regular progress evaluations.
Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or other approaches tailored to the client’s needs.
Document therapy sessions and client progress according to organizational and legal standards.
Provide crisis intervention and support to clients in need, including emergency response when necessary.
Collaborate with other healthcare providers, such as doctors, psychiatrists, PRP, and social workers, to provide comprehensive care.
Educate clients and their families on mental health conditions, coping strategies, and resources for ongoing support.
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical and legal guidelines related to mental health practice.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current on mental health trends and treatment methods.
Manage a caseload and provide timely follow-up for clients’ treatment plans.
Minimum of 10 hours weekly (W2 and 1099 available)
